Master of Respect(老師敬服) Kickstarter project

On February 15, Hobbyjapan Games launched "Master of Respect : Kung-Fu Dojo Management Game | 老師敬服" Kickstarter project.
Master of Respect : Kung-Fu Dojo Management Game | 老師敬服 (Kickstarter)

I published an article about Master of Respect on my blog in the past.
ROHSHI KEIFUKU(MASTER OF RESPECT)

I backed Master of Respect without hesitation today because I'm a fan of board games and Jin Yong's wuxia (Chinese martial arts heroes) novels.

"Master of Respect" of the Kickstarter version has some changes from the first version.

1. Various master with different ability
One master card is dealt to each player at the start of the game.  Each player takes different resources and action tiles correspondent to the master card.   In the first version, there is no master card, and players take the same resources and action tiles.

2. Martial arts tournament
There is a martial arts tournament at the end of each round except for the first round.  Players have his students compete against each other for rewards and victory points.  They compare the sum of the power of student and action tile, and higher one takes rewards.  In the first edition, one student and one action tile merely rest at the end of the round, and the player can't use them at the next round.

3. Change of illustrations
Hyogonosuke, a famous illustrator in Japan painted the illustrations of the game.

Besides these, the ability of student cards and action tiles seems to be adjusted, but I don't know the details.

By the way, I am very sorry that there is no Chinese rulebook of "Master of Respect".  I am very much interested in how this game will be evaluated in China, the birthplace of wuxia.  Perhaps Chinese people will feel strange, as well we Japanese people feel when we see "The Karate Kid".  If I could use the Chinese language, I would translate the rule and introduce it to China.

"Master of Respect" project will be closed on March 17, 2018, 10:56 AM UTC +09:00.
